Normal test results:
We do not routinely inform you if your test results are normal.
Abnormal test results:
If further action is needed based on test results, you will be contacted by a member of the surgery staff.
Where can I access my results:
You can access your test results by:
– NHS App
– Patient access
– Contacting the surgery on 0191 265 5911
If you do need to contact the surgery for test results please do so between 2pm and 5pm.
Who can access my results:
All patient records are confidential. Results will only be given to the patient or parents of children where appropriate. If you wish for someone else to access your results, you will need to give written consent.
For enquiries about tests ordered by the hospital, please contact that hospital.
