Hello and Welcome to the second Health Awareness Event for the East of the City.
Heaton Baptist Church, Tuesday 26th September from 3.00-6.00pm.
Following the enthusiastic feedback from our first event earlier this year, we have decided to take on board the suggestions you made and have organised another event. This will take the form of a keynote presentation by a Newcastle Hospital Dietitian, the most visited stall at the last event, followed by break-out sessions with a wide variety of other professionals.
You can book a maximum of 4 sessions, each lasting 20 minutes, and times for these will be allocated to you. If you have a free session there will be stalls for you to look round including having your blood pressure, glucose levels, weight, height and BMI checked as well as accessing the Diabetes Risk Assessment Tool, for those not diagnosed as diabetic.
Booking is essential. To reserve your place, and book your breakout sessions, please text 07736973730 with your name and GP surgery and the 4 (maximum) letters corresponding to the breakout session you wish to attend ie if you want to see Healthwise, Pain Management and Alcohol Reduction, text ACD and your name and GP surgery to 07736973730.
