The partners are aware the there have been problems with access to appointments at the surgery in recent months.
At Heaton Road Surgery, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our patients and, with this in mind, we are in the process of re-structuring our appointment system in order to improve things.
You may notice that when you contact the surgery the questions you are asked and the way in which your call is processed is different from before. This is to enable our administrative staff to utilise the new appointment system to its full extent and to ensure that you are signposted to the correct clinician.
If you have an appointment at the practice and cannot attend for any reason, please cancel it so we can offer it to someone else. This will assist us greatly in improving access for everyone.
We would ask that you remain courteous to our team during this transitional period.
